The newly completed headquarters complex of the ECOWAS in Abuja was handed over to the regional bloc Tuesday, marking a milestone in regional integration and China-Africa relations.
The China-aided project, popularly known as the "Eye of West Africa," centralizes operations of the ECOWAS Commission, the ECOWAS Parliament, and the Community Court of Justice, which were previously scattered across the Nigerian capital.
